It focuses on foods that are low in calories, so it makes it much faster for people to lose weight when they are on this diet plan. Nutrisystem focuses on getting people to eat healthier overall, so it will take longer for someone to notice the same amount of weight loss.
I almost went with Medifast because I wanted to lose the weight quickly, but then I took a long hard look at myself. I did not want to lose weight and not learn any good eating habits from it. I knew that I would not be able to live on low calorie food for the rest of my life, so I went with Nutrisystem. It did take me longer to lose the weight, but I also learned some really healthy habits that have stayed with me ever since. I am even helping other people to lose weight now too!
